Parkside West is a residential development in Te Atatu South, Auckland, comprising 82 contemporary apartments and terraces across 11 buildings. Positioned alongside Te Atatu South Park, the development offers an accessible entry into Auckland’s property market for first-home buyers, young professionals, downsizers and small families.

Studio Nine was engaged to reposition the development with a completely new name and visual identity. We created the name Parkside West to establish a fresh identity while drawing directly from the development’s location, its park outlook and its connection to West Auckland. The new brand needed to feel contemporary and refined, while remaining approachable and appropriate for an affordable residential development.

The visual identity balances contemporary property design with a softer connection to the surrounding landscape. A modern organic serif gives the Parkside West wordmark a refined yet welcoming character, paired with a distinctive floral motif inspired by the development’s natural setting. A restrained palette of deep and soft greens reinforces the connection to the neighbouring park, while creating a calm, considered and cohesive identity across digital and printed applications.

The identity was extended across the development’s marketing collateral and digital presence, creating a consistent brand experience from initial sales material through to the website.
